I've been a Boston Legal fan (James Spader, William Shatner, Candace Bergen, Betty White, and now Heather Locklear) since it's inception. This is its second season. Last season was cut short when ABC inserted Grey's Anatomy in its place. When viewers like me threw a fit, ABC brought it back this fall.
David E. Kelley, director/producer, is brilliant. The writers are so clever, the screen shots are dramatic and different, wardrobing is elegant, and the music adds to the impact of both humor and drama. There are usually three legal cases being brought to court by separate attorneys in each week's episode, together with personal goings on of the characters. If you watch, you'll be hooked! David E. Kelley also directed/produced The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire on CBS, which I loved, but CBS had other ideas and took it off! RATS! Any other David E. Kelley fans out there?

Gotta agree with your review there! I was devestated when The Practice was cancelled. Especially when James Spader joined the cast! The entire show changed when he came into the picture. Then "Denny Crane" would continually make me piss my pants! When we heard about Boston Legal we thought it would flop - we were wrong and we are so happy we were wrong!!!!!
